Welcome to Bethany’s Joy Treatshop. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, your purchases from us, and your participation in our text message and email programs. Please read them carefully. By using our website, placing an order, or opting in to receive messages from us, you agree to these Terms.
Bethany’s Joy Treatshop is a registered fictitious name of Archer Ventures, LLC (“Bethany’s Joy Treatshop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in West Plains, Missouri.

By accessing or using our website at bethanysjoy.com, subscribing to our text or email messages, or purchasing our products, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. Bethany’s Joy Treatshop is a Missouri cottage food business offering baked goods, shelf-stable mixes, granola, and specialty items. We are a small, home-based operation.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to place an order or opt in to our messaging programs. By using our services you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Products, Cottage Food Disclaimer & Allergens
Our products are made in a home kitchen that is not subject to routine state or local health department inspection, in accordance with Missouri’s cottage food law.
Our products are made in a kitchen that also handles common allergens, which may include wheat, eggs, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and others. We cannot guarantee that any product is free from allergen cross-contact. If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, please contact us before ordering, and consume our products at your own discretion.
Product photos, descriptions, and availability are provided in good faith but may vary. Handmade items naturally differ slightly in appearance, size, and color. We reserve the right to change or discontinue any product at any time.
5. Orders, Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to display accurate pricing and product information, but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of an item you ordered, we will contact you before proceeding.
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, or to limit quantities, for any reason. Payment is due at the time stated at checkout or at pickup, using the payment methods we make available.
6. Pickup, Local Sales & Fulfillment
We sell our products primarily through pickup and at local markets, shows, and events, as indicated at the time of your order.
You are responsible for picking up orders at the agreed time and place. For any shipped items, risk of loss passes to you once the order is handed to the carrier, and we are not responsible for carrier delays or for the quality of perishable items affected by shipping conditions outside our control.
7. Cancellations, Refunds & Returns
Because our products are handmade, perishable food items, all sales are generally final and we do not accept returns. If there is a problem with your order — for example, it was incorrect or arrived damaged — please contact us within 48 hours of pickup or delivery and we will work with you in good faith to make it right, which may include a replacement or refund at our discretion.
8. Text Message (SMS) Marketing Terms
These SMS Terms are part of, and incorporated into, these Terms & Conditions. They govern the Bethany’s Joy Treatshop text messaging program (the “Program”). By enrolling, you agree to these SMS Terms.
Program description. When you opt in to the Program, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and promotional text messages from Bethany’s Joy Treatshop at the mobile number you provided. These may include sales and promotions, coupon and discount codes, new product announcements, market/show and event appearances, and order and pickup updates.
How you opt in. You can join the Program by submitting the text sign-up form on our website. When you provide your mobile number through this method, you are giving us your express written consent to receive automated marketing text messages at that number.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to agree to receive text messages as a condition of buying any goods or services from us.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies. You will typically receive no more than two messages per week.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. These charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile carrier. Bethany’s Joy Treatshop does not charge for the messages themselves.
How to opt out. You can cancel the Program at any time by replying STOP to any of our text messages. After you reply STOP, we will send you one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive text messages from us. If you want to rejoin, simply sign up again the way you did the first time.
How to get help. Reply HELP to any of our messages for assistance, or contact us through our contact form or at (417) 712-6595.
Carriers. Carriers (such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you enroll.
Changes to the Program. We may change or discontinue the Program, or any of these SMS Terms, at any time. Your continued participation after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Privacy. Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
9. Email Communications
If you sign up for our email list, you agree to receive marketing and informational emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and in our communications — including our name, logo, product names, photos, text, and designs — is owned by Archer Ventures, LLC or used with permission and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Missouri.
